2027 Women’s Nature Circle: One Year of Spiritual Herbalism
Four Seasons of PNW Plant Spirit Medicine, Foraging, Wildcrafting and Tarot
Welcome to green witch school! What is a green witch? One who is deeply connected to nature and works with plants for spiritual purposes. This one-year long spiritual herbalism program is for women who want to get to know our PNW plant and tree friends growing all around us.
Learn about over 40 PNW edible, medicinal plants and trees and their physical, emotional and spiritual healing properties to support your spiritual and herbal journey. Cultivate a greater sense of home in our PNW ecosystem. Develop your ability to hear the voice of nature with your heart. Learn about tarot and strengthen your intuition and your personal magic. Create community with like-minded women in a nourishing place of respite from the world.
This program blends herbalism, nature therapy, ecospirituality, ecopsychology (as above, so below) and tarot to connect with nature, yourself and others for healing and growth. Classes include weekly tarot teaching and practice, poetry, journaling, song, meditation, gentle movement, chakras, mysticism, goddesses, astrology, the elements, holding space for each other, and indigenous wisdom of the Salish people, Celtic tradition and Greek mythology.
In addition to indoor classes, we will have field trips to commune with the plants, forage and wildcraft. We will have community foraging when appropriate, ethical, sustainable and respectful to the land to do so, with permission from the plants. You will learn all the basics for gathering and making your own plant medicine. You will make tinctures, oils, salves, teas and burn bundles, all materials provided, and build your own apothecary of local plants with whom you have cultivated a personal relationship.
Each seasonal session has 8 classes, held Tuesdays 6:30-8:30pm indoors in Shoreline, plus occasional Sunday morning field trips 10am-12pm outdoors in Bothell and Snohomish. Summer session is all outdoors at a park in Bothell and has the most foraging. Each session is $600 per person and includes all materials to make tincture, oil, salve, tea and burn bundles. A minimum of 4 people required to hold group. Maximum of 8 people per group.
Commitment to a full session required (no drop-ins). You may take any session in any order (you don’t have to commit to the full year). However, it is recommended to start with Winter session, because the first class is the essential foundation for all our work together. If you don’t take Winter session or have not attended a past session, you will be required to attend a 60-minute zoom class before session starts to cover that foundational material ($30 per person).

Your Teacher: Kaela Koepke of PNW Ecotherapy
I am a green witch, PNW spiritual herbalist, Nature Therapist and Nature Guide. My primary work is as a licensed Mental Health Therapist and Somatic Therapist in private practice. This program is a class, not therapy, although it is therapeutic. Nature is therapist and I am introducing you to my beloved plant friends. I am your herbal guide and teacher.
My plant work combines my two passions, psychology and nature, and stems from my own personal relationship and healing with the plants over the years. I have been getting to know the plants of the PNW for 15 years independently. I do not have a formal herbalist certification or training. Instead, I have direct experience with the plants and knowledge from other herbalists and the Salish people through books and classes.
My life path number and corresponding tarot archetype is the Hierophant, one who teaches about the ancient spiritual traditions of the earth and one who is a bridge between the sacred and the seeker. It is my joy to share what I’ve learned with others. My goal is help you hear the voice of nature with your heart.
