Kaela Koepke, MS, LMHCA
Welcome to my practice, PNW Ecotherapy!
I am a Mental Health Therapist, Nature Therapist/Ecotherapist and Nature Guide in the greater Seattle area. As a licensed professional therapist, I offer Mental Health Therapy and Nature Therapy for women via Telehealth or outdoors in nature in Seattle and Mukilteo. I am also a Nature Guide and lead Plant Walks, Mushroom Walks and teach classes about PNW native, edible, medicinal plants and their physical, emotional and healing properties.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s of Science (MS) degree in Mental Health Counseling from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA). I have 10 years experience working as a Mental Health therapist.
I am an amateur herbalist enthusiast and have been studying plants and mushrooms independently for 10 years. It is my joy to share what I’ve learned in my walks and classes. I love seeing people experience the magic of the forest.
I am a white passing, Persian and Irish bisexual cis woman (she/her pronouns) and a witchy, hippy, mountain mama. My biggest passion in life is being in nature – hiking and backpacking; communing with plants and trees; foraging, wildcrafting and growing my small-batch apothecary; making nature art; and connecting with people, because humans are nature, too.
